Altar Servers Grades 4-12 3-4 weeks of training that occurs after 11 a.m. Mass for 45 minutes Basic schedule: on one week off two weeks Rotate serving Saturday 4 p.m. Mass and Sunday 9 & 11 a.m. Masses Siblings/family members serve together Contact person: Father Richard @ 634-3428

Holy Name Meet the second Monday of the month @ 7:30 p.m. in the school hall Raise money for various parish programs through Parish lottery draw Hold parish-wide events: luncheons, Bisons Games, etc. Open to both men and women who have been Confirmed Contact person: Darwin Hoffman @ 684-2643
Lectors Responsible for reading the 1st and 2nd reading, responsorial psalm, petitions, announcements, closing prayer Lectern every 4-6 weeks (depending on popularity of Mass) Can choose your Mass time Train with a lectern over a period of several weeks Contact person: Fr. Richard @ 634-3428
Liturgy Committee Responsible for decorating the churches for holidays and holy days Responsible for planning and coordinating August 15th activities Responsible for Triduum Masses and services Meetings are scheduled based on holidays and holy days Contact person: Fr. Richard @ 634-3428

Rosary Apostolate Meet the first Sunday of every month @ 1:30-3:00 p.m. in the school hall Monthly dues: $5.00 Take rosary supplies home and make rosaries at home over the course of the month & hand them in at the meeting – NO QUOTAS Meeting includes refreshments and praying the rosary together Rosaries are sent to churches, hospitals, prisons and missions around the world Contact person: Bernie Sansone @ 835-6370
Religious Education Volunteer as a teacher, teacher’s aide, substitute teacher, or hall monitor Volunteering means a reduction in tuition Grades K-6 meet on Saturdays from 10:00-11:15 a.m. Grades 7-11 meet on Mondays from 7:00-8:15 p.m. All lesson plans are written for you Training required by the diocese: -three hour sexual abuse awareness course (VIRTUS) -three tier training (Levels 1, 2 & 3) Contact person: Denise Seeley @ 632-3532 (office) or 565-0655 (home)

Usher Society (merged with Holy Name Society) Responsible for seating parishioners, passing the collection baskets, offertory, handing out bulletins, making sure missalettes and hymnals are put away properly, and greeting parishioners Can choose your Mass time Usher weekly Pay one-third of the price of your usher jacket If you can’t make your Mass, you need to call the head of Ushers Contact person: Bruce Seifert @ 634-1240
